Selve: Introduction of solar set offers plenty of new opportunities  

One thing is certain: the introduction of SELVE's SE Solar-com, a new solar set for wireless control of roller shutters, is eagerly awaited. After all, the demand for this clean, fast and self-sufficient solution is growing, according to Jörn Wilberg (Sales Director SELVE Germany) and Frederico Ferreira (Export Director at SELVE). The solar-powered system is ideal for renovations and installations, as it requires no power connection and minimal installation effort.

The SE Solar-com motor, which runs on a high-quality nickel-metal hydride battery charged by a solar panel, obviously offers an important contribution to sustainability and therefore creates new market opportunities. The growing trend toward energy saving and CO2 reduction among end users strengthens the market potential of this product. Installation of the SE Solar-com is simple and fast, leading to cost and installation advantages.

The solar panel can be easily attached to the cabinet or facade, and also works in diffused light, meaning the battery will charge even on cloudy days. Additional features such as an external charging option and parallel panel installation increase energy output and convenience. The system also supports the SELVE Home System, enabling smart control.

From the first quarter of 2025, a more powerful motor will also be available for larger window surfaces. To support the launch, SELVE offers various sales support tools, including new explainer videos and a solar brochure, to further enthuse and support the trade of course.
