In Belgium and the Netherlands, nearly 25% of the population suffers from insomnia. Light and noise are the biggest enemies to a good night's sleep.  From a major survey by SOPROFEN has shown that total eclipse and maximum daylight the main purchase criteria are for a shutter (this for 70% and 69% of those surveyed, respectively).

Goodnight also generates a significant gain in terms of thermal insulation (passage to class C5).
  
• maximum daylighting by the ultra-compact shutter box (from as little as 13.5 cm for a window opening 1.60 m high, to 16.5 cm for 2.40 m). Thanks to the new end stops on the bottom slat and the unique walk-in funnels in the guides, the end slat does not protrude from the shutter box. This allows even more daylight to enter the house.

All of these elements contribute not only to better light but also guarantee a better blackout and insulation (both from the sun and cold) than with a standard roller shutter. All this results in a better quality of sleep. The blackout performance was officially established on July 29, 2020, in the presence of a judicial officer.

The ideal roller shutter for the coast

Today, anyone can equip their home with shutters, even in areas where they are exposed to extreme weather conditions. SOPROFEN has therefore developed the "high-resistance coating" option added. This "seacoating" involves specially treating the shutter box, guides, shutter blade and bottom lath so that the paintwork can withstand the most extreme weather conditions.

The shutter blade is available in two different shades (white and anthracite gray) and slat types (37 and 50 mm) and the frame can be in any RAL colors varnished.
On the whole, SOPROFEN gives a five-year warranty against corrosion, for homes within 10 km of the shoreline and up to seven years beyond that 10 km**.
