This slogan typifies Ruborol, a specialist in the production and sale of roller shutters, awnings and screens for professional customers in Flanders and the Netherlands. This family business from Hamont-Achel distributes roller shutters from Aluprof, the A-brand known by the professional for quality and reliability. The focus is on quality products, but at Ruborol they think equally about the highest ease of installation for their customers.

Ruborol has been supplying high-quality roller shutters to installers since 2001. Current manager Brecht Vanhamond took over the company in 2021 to further expand it together with his wife Eveline Kerkhofs. The two sons of the family also already lend a hand in their spare time and the intention is that they will also play their part in the family business in the future. 

"We strive to ensure that our customers, particularly professional installers from Flanders and the Netherlands, can work with top-quality roller shutters and screens time and again. This is only possible if we choose to collaborate with A-brands, with whom we also build a long-term relationship," states the business manager. "Of course we supply standard solutions, but we certainly do not shy away from any challenge. In the production of slightly more special projects, we can really distinguish ourselves. Ruborol is not tied to one supplier, but still prefers to choose permanent partners so that they do not have to work with different profiles all the time. Above all, it is essential for the company to work with reliable partners and deliver high quality products within the predefined delivery date every time. 

"For our shutter profiles, we have been working with Aluprof for many years, but we add our own unique touch. We assemble the shutters with spring-loaded axle spindles, making it easy to remove the top tube from the shutter casing. This is a real gamechanger in assembly, disassembly and service work," explains Brecht Vanhamond. "Professionals have come to the right place, but their customers benefit as well.
