At the March trade fair Fensterbau Frontale in Nuremberg, SUNFLEX Aluminiumsysteme GmbH presented a number of novelties. For example, the specialist in glass folding and sliding systems from Wenden-Gerlingen expanded its portfolio some time ago with the SF60 and SF80 window systems. They are characterized by their very fine faces.
For more than 35 years, SUNFLEX has specialized in developing and manufacturing sliding systems, turn-slide systems, folding-slide systems, horizontal sliding wall systems and patio roofs for both residential and commercial (hospitality) applications. "With our range of products, we offer a wide variety of options for creating maximum living and accommodation areas while increasing the utility value of residential or commercial spaces or buildings," says SUNFLEX general manager Dennis Schneider. "As one of the leading companies, we provide versatile solutions for terraces, winter gardens, facades, balconies and business entrances, as well as for room divisions and partitions. We tailor our products to our customers' requirements so that they can be harmoniously integrated into the environment. End users appreciate the easy and intuitive operation, the high level of quality and the long service life of our products."
"The special feature of the new SF60 and SF80 sliding windows lies in their slim, minimalist aesthetics and yet high-quality, insulating properties," explains Schneider. "The systems are also individually configurable and can be easily installed and assembled. With a fully retractable outer frame, a sash window of which only 21 mm is visible, and a center post only 30 mm wide, they create an open room feeling with smooth transitions between inside and outside. Despite this, the SF80 system achieves Uw values of even 0.8W/m2K through its glazing."
At the Nuremberg booth, visitors could also see SUNFLEX's cubic terrace roof SF300. "Both aesthetically and functionally, this glass roof is an eye-catcher," said Schneider. "With a roof inclination of only 2° - and internal static - there is only a slight roof pitch, but rainwater can still be drained effectively. Because the roof surface is subtly hidden behind the 300 mm high, all-round eaves, the slope of the roof is not visible. This creates a visually flat roof with an elegant appearance. Concealed downspouts and different design variants of the drainage system ensure reliable drainage of rainwater from the roof."
