Harol offers various outdoor living solutions that allow optimal enjoyment of terrace and garden not only in summer, but also in autumn and winter. The Vision, Opera and Brera slat roofs allow the end user to regulate the amount of sun or shade on the terrace by tilting or sliding the slats. A tilted or slid open roof immediately provides optimal air circulation, depending on the position of the slats combined with shade. Due to their sturdy construction and ingenious drainage systems, slat roofs can also withstand inclement weather such as rain and snow.
For end users who also want to enjoy the outdoors in winter, Harol offers various extension options to turn a patio cover into a comfortable 'outdoor room'. These include windproof screens and/or glass and/or wooden sliding walls. These solutions turn the terrace and garden into a year-round extension of the home.
Harol's SF20 sliding glass wall protects against wind and weather. When the panels are closed, they overlap by about 23 mm. According to Harol, this ensures maximum transparency, permanent ventilation and good protection against (driving) rain. The sliding panels can be easily moved and can optionally be fitted with a handle, lock or latch on the inside and/or outside.
Incidentally, sliding glass walls can also be an indoor solution Harol stresses, for example to separate a space, such as a (home) office, dining room, family room or walk in closet. The flat bottom rail should ensure that a good, obstacle-free passage is created.
Technical data of Harol's sliding glass walls:
- Profile Technology - full-glass sliding system with 15 mm panel installation depth
- Glazing - single tempered glass (ESG) with a thickness of 8 or 10 mm- Fittings Technology - 2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-track bottom and top rails and automatic move-in function for the sliding panels; the bottom rail with anti-slip coating can be recessed for barrier-free passage
- Closure - optional locking on the inside and/or outside
- Drainage - free and easy to clean due to the optimal shortening of the running surfaces in the rails
For those seeking protection from wind and weather, creating a cozy atmosphere and enjoying privacy, Harol recommends the WP67 wooden sliding wall. It is the perfect extension of a slatted roof, according to the company.
The stylish wooden sliding wall with quiet operation is made of environmentally friendly thermowood, a sustainable alternative to tropical hardwood. The sliding walls can be slid to the left or right, or completely closed for those who want more privacy. There is an 8-mm gap between the slats to ensure good ventilation and minimal visibility. The sliding panels can also be optionally finished with screen fabric.
