Plastex's ClipZip® system originated in Switzerland in 2010 as a technical further development of a Japanese product for zipper guide in the side guides of zipper screens.
Plastex SA has been in the blinds industry since 1967 and has used that experience to improve the lateral guide for zipper screens. The lateral zipper guide made of thermoplastic material has precise markings where ClipZip® springs should be mounted. Those springs ensure the proper tension of the fabric.
There are three different clips that make the ClipZip® system suitable for all types of zipscreens, which is ideal for both planning and executing projects. The cleverly designed, expertly injection molded from high-quality raw materials are available in the three versions Biflex, Maxi and Mini. They make the ClipZip® system easily applicable to any zipscreen system. The result is Tech&Stretch or flawless looking zipscreens.
With the ClipZip® system, screens are prepared for all weather conditions, in all seasons, at all latitudes. This makes them perfect for areas with high winds. The three clips available have been thoroughly tested for 500,000 cycles, equivalent to five movements per hour, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 10 years. The clips are made from recycled raw materials that comply with RoHS and REACH regulations.
There are many products and ways to attach the screen fabric to the fabric tube. The patented AVIASTA ® is an easy, safe and stable alternative to attach the fabric without having to dismantle the system. Unlike other products, AVIASTA® allows the fabric to be moved and positioned after installation.
During the production process, a fabric can be applied manually or automatically using AVIASTA® with a practical tool. Plastex is happy to support you in choosing the appropriate solution.
