Part of the world-renowned Hyatt hotel chain, the Thompson Hotel Madrid is committed to exceptional guest experiences. The 5-star hotel features an extraordinary rooftop terrace with 36 bioclimatic pergolas with AWIND systems. SOLTIS VEOZIP fabric by Serge Ferrari was used for these canopies. 

Thompson Hotel Madrid is located on Plaza del Carmen, steps from Puerta del Sol and Plaza de Canalejas. This neighborhood is known as the heart of Madrid's new Golden Mile. The hotel is housed in two historic buildings with imposing architecture from the middle of the last century. It houses 175 modern and comfortable rooms and suites, including a two-story penthouse suite. In addition, the hotel also features a swimming pool and a rooftop terrace.

Awma had the privilege of installing 36 bioclimatic pergolas on the hotel's roof terrace. These pergolas not only add a unique architectural touch, but also provide comfort in all seasons. Thanks to the retractable slat system, guests can enjoy panoramic views of Madrid and starry skies while being protected from the intense sun or from wind and rain."

To provide a comprehensive architectural solution, TENKI-RT bioclimatic pergolas are combined with vertical awnings. These AWIND systems are made with extruded aluminum profiles and equipped with SOLTIS VEOZIP fabric. "The exterior zippered awning adds a touch of privacy in addition to protection from the elements.
