Persuade customers with quality screens and smooth installation 

RUBOROL specializes in the production and sale of screens, shutters and blinds for professional customers in Flanders and the Netherlands. The family business from Hamont-Achel is a distributor of AVZ's SolidScreen range and works together with Sunconfex for the screen fabrics. The focus is on high quality products, but at RUBOROL they think just as much about the ease of installation for the installer on the building site.

"This company has existed since 2001, but I took over in 2021. In the meantime, my wife Eveline works in the business and the intention is that both of our sons will later play their part in the family business as well. They are still in school now, but help out in their spare time whenever possible," says owner Brecht Vanhamond. "We specialize in the production and delivery of screens and roller shutters, among other things. Our customers, professional installers from Flanders and the Netherlands, are always central. This is why we consciously choose to work with A-brands, with whom we build a long-term relationship. We supply standard solutions, but also distinguish ourselves by producing slightly more special projects. We do not shy away from any challenge. Moreover, we strive to make the life of the installer easier. After all, all products are developed and produced to be installed on the construction site without any problems."

RUBOROL is not tied to any one supplier, but still prefers to choose regular partners so that they do not have to work constantly with different profiles or motors. For example, Brecht Vanhamond deliberately chooses screen fabrics from the Sunconfex collections. "And we distribute the entire SolidScreen line, the popular wind-resistant screens from AVZ. Depending on the application and the wishes of the end customer, the installer chooses the Standard, available with a cabinet in various designs and sizes, the Niche for a hidden installation in a niche or cavity or the Xtra for mounting on a plastered exterior wall. If one prefers narrow guides, both SolidScreen Standard and Niche can be supplied with narrow guides, the so-called XS versions. And for large window areas up to 18 m², there is the SolidScreen XL. Finally, the Solar version is equipped with a solar panel and is thus completely powered by solar energy," Vanhamond explains. "We make no distinction between standard or RAL colors or glossy, matte or textured. We supply everything at the same price, with the exception of metallics and very special colors."
