Last year saw the launch of markilux's new awning fabric collection. This collection has surprised the awning world with the dynamic concept on the basis of which it was put together, as markilux has foreseen that the collection will be constantly renewed and expanded with trendy fabrics in the future. This year the first version of new visutex designs will appear in a colorful pop art style.
According to markilux, the collection one is a "breathable awning fabric collection." New patterns and colors based on trends, art or lifestyle themes should update this collection from time to time, giving it a dynamic rhythm. Therefore, some canvases will be replaced by others over time. With the new popart version, the sun protection specialist is adding ten exclusive visutex designs to the collection to begin with.
The collection one from markilux has been expanded to include canvases with a special look.
From fine lines and implied color transitions to block stripes in sunny orange, bold red and bright pink, the patterns of sunsilk quality surprise, according to markilux. Textile designer Annette Busch drew inspiration for this from current color trends and from the pop art of the 1950s to 1960s. In particular, the works of Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol provided the impetus for the colorful design. "I am sure that our new designs would have appealed to these two artists," says Busch. According to her, with their appearance they are in any case an enrichment for the collection one, in which, incidentally, no other changes are planned for the time being.
"We felt it would be good to contrast the many subtle colors of our awning fabrics with something more impulsive as a counterpart," said Annette Busch. "Something that gives freshness to outdoor living, that energizes and creates a good mood. After all, life in all its versatility is very colorful."
Moreover, according to her, there are very many furnishing and color trends coexisting today: from light pastel shades and beige natural tones to darker shades. In this spectrum, there is room for improvement in terms of bold colors. "With the new designs in pop art style, the terrace and balcony can get a colorful energy boost!" Markilux partners have received samples for the collection folder with the ten additional designs and matching sample hangers. Designer Annette Busch is curious to see if the new cloths will show their positive power and be well received by consumers.
