Guillaume Janssen: 'New year, new trends, new collection!'

After many years of running the well-known collections, Guillaume Janssen is launching its own acrylic collection for the first time. "This carefully constructed, particularly extensive and unique GJ - Solar Pro cloth collection has a wide variety of no less than 72 colors and designs, 20 of which are available in larger roll widths," said director Jos Stoit. "Some of 16 designs are available in the Solrain version, with extra high water column, and some 9 cloths in the special, air-filtering Green® version are included in the collection, but more on that later." 

An overview of the Guillaume Janssen Solar Pro canvas collection, consisting of 72 canvases: 

- 27 modern uni colors named Plains
- of which 20 designs on larger width named Large
- Of which 16 designs in a version with large water column called Solrain
- of which 9 colors are available in an air-filtering version called Green
- 12 melange uni designs named Tandem with a vintage touch
- 4 light plaid uni designs named Scotland
- 19 canvases with fantasy stripe called Fantasy
- 7 of which are combined with a light checkered pattern called Animals
- 10 classically striped cloths called Classic Stripes
- of which 4 were blended block stripe designs called X

"With this balanced collection, Guillaume Janssen is able to provide the entire sun protection industry with the right type of cloth," Stoit believes. "Modern colors for the assemblers of articulated arm and terrace screens, project colors on large roll widths for the replacement market, waterproof cloths for hospitality awnings and some more traditional colors for awnings and canopies." The fabrics are available on coupon, seamless or stitched in strips with Saba or with the stronger Tenara thread.
