Did you know that Mermet has more than 70 years of experience in weaving fiberglass PVC screens? Since the company's inception in 1951, the brand has always placed quality at the top of its priorities. That's why it chose fiberglass as its core wire with a sheath of durable PVC. This combination ensures longevity and superior color fastness.
At the R+T fair in Stuttgart, Mermet - the new brand of the Hunter Douglas companies Mermet, Copaco, Helioscreen and Screenprotectors - presented its new indoor collection. Not surprisingly, it gathered its familiar success products under the heading "Essentials" in the process. Screen Vision, M-Screen and Panama Pro are all fabrics that have proven their worth for years and can be admired in various buildings worldwide. It is an excellent collection with a balanced color palette that still offers a wide range of possibilities.
For example, Screen Vision offers four density levels to optimize shading based on the orientation of the building. These range from superior glare protection thanks to dense weave (density of 1%) to exceptional transparency (density of 10%). M-Screen also has three possible densities for customized shading and is available in a selection of 15 classic colors. In addition, both fabrics have a high M1/B1 fire rating to meet more stringent requirements. They are further available in a width of 3200 mm. The Panama Pro - finally - offers identical patterns in different densities for improved performance in all façade orientations. In addition, it is an economical fabric with suitable fire retardancy that meets most requirements. All Essentials fabrics provide an optimal balance between reducing glare, maximizing daylight and maintaining an unobstructed view to the outside.
Depending on customers' needs, they can choose the desired fabric, the ideal density and the most suitable color. The experienced team of experts is ready to help.
