Coulisse continues to push boundaries

As a global specialist in window coverings, Coulisse has pushed boundaries with its innovations time and again since 1992. Its unique design approach, innovative collections, advanced systems and smart technology have taken the industry to the next level. Last year, Coulisse proudly opened a new office and experience center in Sydney. Meanwhile, the visionary Coulisse Campus project in the Netherlands, an advanced 15,000-square-meter distribution center whose design was inspired by leading companies such as Google and Apple, is progressing. 

The campus - with a unique architectural design - is rising in a sprawling seven-acre area that will house Coulisse's headquarters, distribution center and development department. It will be a hub for inspiration, pioneering, collaboration and innovation for both employees and partners. A place where creative minds, smart technology, digitization and robotics seamlessly blend to bring forth the world's most progressive solutions for the window covering industry. 

Innovations

Coulisse's mission is to improve people's lives by developing perfect window coverings that combine beauty, well-being, safety and energy efficiency. For Coulisse, 2023 has again focused on a total solution of functional fabrics, advanced systems and MotionBlinds smart technology. This year, Coulisse introduced a revolutionary smart curtain concept with an innovative curtain track and two intelligent motors - one wired and one USB-C rechargeable battery motor. It offers unparalleled convenience and compatibility with smart home systems. MotionBlinds has been further developed by becoming Matter Ready, in line with the increasing adoption of smart technology in households, prioritizing usability and connectivity.

Operating worldwide

Coulisse made its mark internationally in 2023, actively participating in prestigious events and trade shows worldwide. The year began with Coulisse's impressive presence at CES in Las Vegas in January, which set the tone for a year of commitment, innovation and success. The international stage was further taken by attendance at R+T Asia in Shanghai in July and at the Super Expo on the Gold Coast in Australia. Subsequently, Coulisse still shined at the CEDIA in Denver, and the Sun Shading Expo in Orlando. In 2024, Coulisse will act again at the R+T in Stuttgart. Tip: make sure you're there, because this will be the biggest presentation yet! 

Reflecting on the development of Coulisse until today, CTO Maurice Roetgering sums it up as follows, "It's been incredibly rewarding to build a company and watch it grow over the past thirty years, to expand it with talented people in new locations around the world and build a brand new Coulisse Campus.
