Vincent and Pieter Willemsen leave Hylas after thirty years

In a press release, AVZ-Group announced that Vincent and Pieter Willemsen have left Hylas and the AVZ-Group after thirty years. The brothers have built Hylas into an important pillar within the AVZ-Group and a name of significance in the field of the manufacturing of awning fabric in the Benelux, according to general director Niels Beerens of AVZ-Group. Vincent and Pieter Willemsen will continue to work at Hylas until the end of this year to ensure a careful transfer of knowledge and experience. "We want to thank both gentlemen for their commitment and what they have meant to Hylas and the AVZ-Group," said Beerens. "We wish Pieter and Vincent every success into the future."

Meanwhile, AVZ-Group has newly filled the positions of Pieter and Vincent Willemsen. Since October 1, Martin Koning has been Managing Director of Smits Rolluiken en Zonwering as well as Managing Director of Hylas. In this role he is ultimately responsible for both AVZ-Group branches.

As of November 1, Peter Engelberts, formerly employed by Erhardt Markisen in Germany, is filling the role of Operations Manager at Hylas. In this role, he assumes the day-to-day management of the company. Engelberts has experience as a Business Improvement Manager and Project Manager. "With his now extensive experience within our industry, he now returns to the Netherlands after five years," said Beerens. "We are delighted that Peter has chosen Hylas to take a new step in his career. As AVZ-Group, we are confident that under the new management Hylas will continue to serve its customers with the same service as before!"
