SUYS: 'The golden anniversary will be celebrated with innovations!'

The Belgian family business SUYS, formerly Building Shutters, is 50 years old. This happy event has been celebrated extensively over the past few months, including a complete rebranding. And the year of celebration continues, SUYS announces, because a number of innovations will be presented at Polyclose in Ghent. 

Roller Shutters

Even with an established product like roller shutters, developments continue to unwind. Even in this product group, sleek design is now the norm. Specifically for modern building styles, where the facade is finished in stucco, SUYS presents the new Minirol® INTEGRATED. "For this unique roller shutter box, we have developed an L-profile against which the finishing layer of the exterior facade is applied," explains CEO Thibaut Suys. "The roller shutter box is thus seamlessly integrated into the facade while remaining accessible for revision via a flap at the bottom." 

A "new & improved" system is being launched for the Minirol® MONO, SUYS' surface-mounted roller shutter. "With a summary format and minimalist design, the requirements of ease of installation and comfort are met to the maximum," said Suys.

"In the area of sun protection, there is already a hit in the pipeline that will only be revealed to visitors at our booth at Polyclose," says marketing manager Femke Desmet. "SUYS is presenting a completely new application at Polyclose! It is a product that completes the Lockscreen® range and with which SUYS offers a screen for a totally different application. Equipped with the valued Lockscreen® technology, this screen will also be one with a sleek and pure design." 

In addition to these completely new additions to the roller shutters and screens product groups, visitors to SUYS' booth at Polyclose can also count on a number of innovations that enhance design, comfort and ease of installation, according to Femke Desmet. "And the range of aluminum cladding will also be on display. A logical addition for us because this keeps us within the high-end market of everything around the façade."
