SUNFLEX presents new sliding windows at the Fensterbau Frontale in Nuremberg

At the Fensterbau Frontale in Nuremberg from March 19 to 22, 2024, SUNFLEX Aluminiumsysteme GmbH will present many novelties. For example, the specialist in glass folding and sliding systems has expanded its portfolio to include sliding windows. We are talking about the SF60 and SF80, window systems with particularly fine views.

"The special feature of these new sliding windows lies in their sleek, minimalist aesthetics yet (high) insulation properties," explains general manager Dennis Schneider. "The systems are also individually configurable and easy to assemble. With a fully retractable outer frame, a sash window of which only 21 mm is visible, and a center post only 30 mm wide, they create an open room feeling with smooth transitions between inside and outside." Despite this, the SF80 system achieves Uw values as low as 0.8W/m2K due to its glazing.

Also at the booth, visitors can see the cubist patio roof SF300 finding. Both aesthetically and functionally, this glass roof is an eye-catcher. With a roof pitch of only 2° and internal static, it creates only a slight slope that purposefully drains rainwater.

"Because the roof surface is subtly hidden behind the 300 mm high, all-round cube finish, the slope is not visible. This allows for a flat but elegant appearance. Concealed downspouts and different design variants of the drainage system also ensure reliable roof drainage," Schneider said.
