Sattler: 'Compactness fair led to high quality visitors'

At Sattler's booth at Polyclose this year, the focus of the presentations was on three items. Those were the Acrylic Screendoek Twillight Comfort #262, described as "competitively priced, strategically very interesting," the Elements Oeko Weave #393 Re-used yarns, "Made in Green certified," and the OekoTex Standard 100+ the OekoTex SteP, also certified: "Made in Green certified."

Commenting on these products was Nico van Hattum of Sattler, who was at the fair with a team of four employees. "Over the last ten years we have been able to strengthen our name as a supplier of high-quality awning fabric in the Benelux," he says. "That we had a zipscreen with an acrylic screen fabric on the stand was a pleasant surprise to many. But then again, as a company you are also at a trade fair to be able to surprise!"

Van Hattum found the quality of contacts with visitors to Polyclose to be high. "I think this was due to the compactness of the fair. Visitors were able to take their time to exchange views on important details as well." Overall, Sattler's team was therefore satisfied with Polyclose. "But it was unfortunate that a number of regular exhibitors were missing."

For Nico van Hattum and his colleagues, the task now is to follow up on Polyclose. "Doing what you say is important in a seasonal market such as the awning industry. So now we are busy scheduling appointments and sending all the promised documentation."
