Roller shutter and blinds manufacturer SUYS enters partnership within cyclocross

Belgian family business SUYS, based in Nokere (Kruisem), has signed on as the new main partner of the Exact Cyclocrossen, the Belgian cyclocross championships in Heusden-Zolder and the European championships in Middelkerke.

Last year, on the occasion of their 50th anniversary, the manufacturer of solar screens and shutters said goodbye to the name BUILDING SHUTTERS and decided to go full steam ahead with SUYS. "We want to be seen more," explains CEO Thibaut Suys. "This investment in sports marketing is part of our brand transition where we want to increase our brand awareness and clout as a family-owned company within our industry."
SUYS will be featured 11 race days in the field and live on Sporza. The partnership with Golazo was pledged for a minimum of 3 years, already showing that SUYS is aiming for a long-term story.

"Cyclocross is alive and well and is a great springboard to highlight our company and products," Thibaut Suys clarifies. "We will cash in on this sponsorship, together with our distributors, with additional activations such as WIN actions, gadgets and online campaigns. Our dealers are already enthusiastic."

The extra visibility SUYS gains with the cyclocross also puts them in the spotlight as an employer. The Exact crossen will start on Oct. 12 in Beringen and end on Feb. 15, 2025 in Sint-Niklaas. The BK Heusden-Zolder will take place on Saturday January 11 and Sunday January 12, 2025. On Nov. 8 and 9, 2025, Middelkerke will be the arena where the best European cyclo-cross riders compete for the white-and-blue jerseys. Organizer Golazo is delighted with the new partnership and looks forward to spotting SUYS at the upcoming races.
