At Unilux, it's Award time at the end of the year! And how!!! The Award for the Best Online Marketing in 2023 was won by the company www.Decoscreen.nl and the Award for the Best Performing Online Horrance Specialist was awarded to Genzo Zonwering. By presenting these Awards, Unilux underlines how good online cooperation works both ways. "And, not unimportantly: how it also delivers financially for the specialist trade," says Hanneke Harmeling of the communications department.
To prevent a proliferation of web stores for screens, Unilux took the step back in 2013 to develop a screen shop that dealers could connect to. "A good unique web formula emerged from this with the main goal of putting consumers in touch with ón our specialists. For dealers it has been made financially attractive to participate in this."
Janneke Enters of Genzo Zonwering says she was "surprised" when she heard she had won Unilux's Award for Best Performing Online Horrance Specialist. "Of course I knew this award existed. You read about it sometimes, and fair is fair: we regularly receive a credit from Unilux showing that we are doing well online. What a post on our website doesn't do!"
"I do the online marketing all by myself, it takes quite a lot of time but I do try to post three times a week on Instagram and Facebook, among others. That generates attention, of course. We also want to come up with a good hashtag that we can start using as standard. We are working on that now."
Janneke goes on to say that she hopes Unilux also continues to develop itself further in the area of online marketing. "For example, I would like to know what percentage of visitors, who have been in our showroom, actually proceed to purchase a screen product online. Right now we don't see that on the credit notes we receive from Unilux. If we knew that, we would be able to manage that again."
"It's always nice to win something," she says in conclusion. "It confirms that you are doing a good job with the products, both online and in the showroom. It encourages to do even more with it!"
"If you're not doing anything about online marketing, then you know you're at a disadvantage," says Luuk Koenraadt of www.Decoscreen.nl from Boxtel. "For me - as an entrepreneur - it is therefore a must to invest in it in a targeted way. Fortunately, I am supported in this by marketing agency Vizien with whom we come up with great campaigns in good consultation."
"It brings us good sales. And so now also winning this 'Best Online Marketing Award' from Unilux. Of course I think it's really nice to get appreciation from our supplier in this way. But I still say: it's a joint effort. Without Unilux I would be nowhere. The cooperation that has developed over the years is good and important for my service. This way I can live up to what I stand for."
Luuk is pleased that Unilux appreciates the quality of his Web site. "I understand that it stands out well compared to many other retailers," he says. "The site is user-friendly, clear, customer-oriented and we respond quickly. But it's not just that: we've had a lot of focus in last year's campaigns on incorporating the right keywords into our content and appealing to the right audience. I think we do that well, and all the nicer it is that we can now receive this Award. I really see this as a piece of appreciation for all our efforts."
