NederLux presents new swela cloth collection NEW LIGHT

NederLux presented the new swela cloth collection NEW LIGHT in January. "It has its own style and includes, in addition to the well-known well-running cloths, a number of beautiful new designs," says Klaas-Jan Postma of NederLux. "The colors fit perfectly with the current trends with many shades of nature and gray."

A number of well-known cloth names can no longer be used by NederLux as of 2023 because another party has bought them. "We still carry the cloths, but from now on under a different name," Postma clarified. "The new names have been chosen to best reflect the quality of the cloths. The NEW LIGHT collection includes a new quality of canvases under the name excellent. "With this we put shade in a different light," says Postma, who emphasizes that the excellent canvases are very special. "They are characterized by beautiful new colors and original designs. Thanks to the woven-in 100% polyester Mouliné yarn, an effect yarn in which different colors of yarn are twisted, this cloth has the best properties one would expect from a high-end awning cloth." 

To color the cloth, dispersion pigments were used that color the yarn right to the core. According to Klaas-Jan Postma, this guarantees optimal colorfastness. "But that is not the only quality of this cloth, because as the name suggests, all the properties of this cloth are excellent. apart from colorfastness, excellent cloth is dimensionally stable, weatherproof and rot- and mold-free."
