With its "mx light" lighting system, markilux offers numerous options for invitingly illuminating the screen and garden at night. We discuss this with Christiane Berning, Head of Marketing and Business Development.
Over the years, the garden and terrace and balcony have become living spaces in which more and more people spend their leisure time. This does require an atmosphere in which people feel comfortable. Among other things, attractive lighting design contributes to this. This is why the sun protection manufacturer markilux has initially developed the "mx light" system for two models. It is based on various LED lamps that immerse outdoor spaces in a neutral, warm to colored light. These developments are, of course, not illogical because in the summer months, the garden is now central to life for many. A significant portion of free time is spent there with family and friends. Not only during the day, but also in the evening. The awning specialist has therefore developed the "mx light" lighting system for its latest models, the "MX-4" and the "pergola style", which can be operated using an app.
Consumers are making increasing demands on the quality of outdoor living. There has to be atmosphere!
With this system, the garden, terrace and balcony can be illuminated with warm white light or colored accents via the "light warm white," "ambient" and "ambient plus" lighting options. The dining area is thus given a different lighting mood than the cozy reading corner, the lounge area or flowerbeds and certain plants that are to act as eye-catchers in the evening. In addition, individual lighting scenes can be defined depending on the occasion and mood.
"With the flexibly adjustable spotlights and the LED Lines, the facade and screen can also be effectively illuminated. All in all, with the system there are many possibilities to combine effects, rather than just using a single light source," says Christiane Berning. According to her, good lighting design contributes to a calming, relaxing atmosphere. In addition, it makes the terrace or poorly visible steps safer at night.
