In interior design, the industrial look is all the rage. Inspired by old industrial windows and the sometimes also somewhat rougher structures in design, the Wenden (D)-based SUNFLEX Aluminiumsysteme GmbH now offers its well-sold SF20 systems in a steel look in addition to all-glass variants.
The possibilities are versatile. Indeed, as an interior element, the systems can be used as professional room dividers. But also think of built-in cabinets and walk-in closets or discover an application as a movable partition for large open kitchens.
With vertical profiles and rods, as well as frosted glass, special glass or foils, SUNFLEX adapts its glass elements to the specific living requirements. Whatever the consumer wants! Thereby, comfort remains equally high with each variant. The sashes of the floor-mounted system can be moved to the right, left or both sides as desired. Integrated sliders automatically move the elements along on up to six tracks thanks to the smooth-running and low-maintenance runners. This allows the systems with up to 12 elements to reach widths of up to almost 20 meters and heights of up to 3 meters.
For barrier-free living, the unique non-slip bottom rail is also easy to integrate into the floor. With an airborne sound insulation of 17 dB - according to DIN EN ISO 10140-2 - the systems almost approach the guideline values for facade windows. This is certainly also due to the gap sealing of the aluminum profiles, which SUNFLEX has fitted with brush seals. A ceiling track with a height compensation of up to 20 millimeters and a height adjustment of the track rollers of up to 5 millimeters effortlessly compensate for architectural subsidence. This significantly simplifies the integration of this system into existing construction when installed.
With the SF20, SUNFLEX therefore offers a perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality, tailored to the highest demands of modern home comfort.
