"Since we are in a building phase with our company and are in the process of establishing a dealer network in the Netherlands and Belgium, it is important for us to be visible as much as possible," believes Martijn Westenbrink of Gibus NL BV. "To introduce the market to our organization, the people and our product range. Our presence at Polyclose made a nice contribution to that."
So a satisfied Martijn Westenbrink. "Our focus was on the one hand on creating brand awareness and on the other hand to show visitors the new entry-level model from our range of bioclimatic slat roofs. Then I am talking about the Pergola Movie. We also showed a presentation of the LED-lit modular exhibition walls that we can use with our dealers in view of local trade shows and presentations."
When asked whether Westenbrink judged the trade fair in Ghent to be of high quality, he cannot really answer. "That will only become apparent after the fair, when we have shaped the follow-up. So at this stage there is not really much to say about that."
So overall, the Gibus team is satisfied with the fair, although Wednesday was actually a little too quiet. "But fair is fair, the weather forecasts were also to blame for that. What I found unfortunate was the low number of manufacturers participating. I also think Polyclose and the R+T were too close together. That may also have affected the number of visitors."
