Filigree profiles defy wind and weather

With the newly developed SF60 and SF80 sliding windows, SUNFLEX Aluminiumsysteme GmbH now offers two new sliding windows with particularly filigree profile surfaces. The highlight: despite their slim design, the new variants possess (highly) insulating properties, are easy to install and can be configured as desired.

Narrow view widths and subtle profiles maximize light penetration, a uniform look and a spacious appearance without distracting components. With a fully recessed outer frame, a sash window of which only 21 mm is visible and a center joint only 30 mm wide, the systems create an open room feeling with smooth transitions between the interior and exterior areas. This effect is enhanced by a track that can be fully recessed into the floor, which also promotes accessibility. Thanks to their flat cube shape, the handles nestle elegantly against the frame, emphasizing the subtle, homogeneous design. With the SF60 and SF80, SUNFLEX now also offers its proven sliding mechanism in a thermally insulated as well as a highly thermally insulated version. This makes them particularly suitable for façade glazing and conservatories. Depending on the glazing and size, the SF80 even achieves Uw values as low as 0.8W/m2K.

The SF60 and SF80 sash windows can open to the left and/or right as desired. Built-in carriers automatically pull the following sashes with them when closing. This enables fast operation and also simplifies glass cleaning. Ball-bearing rollers and rails made of high-quality stainless steel ensure that the sliding sashes move particularly smoothly. This allows you to create large opening widths with the systems. Heights, widths and glass thicknesses of the sliding elements can be selected individually up to a maximum weight of 800 kg per window. Up to 3 rails can be installed in parallel. Thus, up to six movable glass sashes can be provided. With glass thicknesses of up to 34 mm (SF60) or 54 mm (SF80) and optional steel reinforcements in the center joint, the systems can withstand high wind speeds and driving rain. Standard mounted mushroom-shaped head locks contribute to optimal tightness and increase burglary protection.
