SWK ZIP, nominated for the R+T Innovation Award 2024.

The main theme of this year's fair is sustainable development. As a leading manufacturer of technical textiles in Europe, Dickson is also doing its part to combat global warming. Years of increasing glass surfaces in buildings have led to overheating, making it high time to take action against the harmful effects on people and the planet. To prevent overheating and the need for air conditioning, these surfaces need solar control fabrics that are able to regulate both the temperature and the amount of natural light coming in, while withstanding the mechanical stresses of their environment.

With that in mind, Dickson's teams proudly present SWK ZIP, the new micro-perforated fabric developed specifically for large-scale systems. This innovation also aroused great interest among the organizers, as they nominated this new fabric for the R+T Innovation Prize 2024 in the technical textiles category.

In addition to new product developments, Dickson's teams are also presenting "Greenovation. Launched more than 10 years ago, this initiative encompasses all the company's ambitions in terms of environmental awareness, and we are talking about a global commitment on a daily basis.

"Whether it's SWK ZIP or, more broadly, all of our shading fabrics, our collections are designed with an emphasis on optimum sustainability, complete customer satisfaction and the principle of sustainable consumption. It is our responsibility to offer textiles that closely match the lifestyles of both today and tomorrow. Our Greenovation program fits seamlessly with the theme of R+T 2024." A booth that reflects new lifestyles

Trends are moving toward multifunctional living. Spaces are being opened up, shared and opened up to the outside world. The awning fabric acts as a link that extends the moments of everyday life outside by creating a protective cocoon. Designed to reflect these new lifestyles, Dickson's booth showcases Dickson fabrics with all their colors, textures and patterns, which can be perfectly matched to any outdoor environment.

"We look forward to meeting all of our partners and uniting our sales teams around this not-to-be-missed event. It should send a powerful signal of Dickson's continued commitment to developing ever more innovative and responsible technical textile products for home improvement," said Amaury Flipo, awning market manager at Dickson.
