Window shutters in aluminum and plastic are proving to be a very welcome addition to the traditional range of shading products. "Window shutters are relatively easy to install, are low maintenance and demonstrably functional," says Jelmer. In wood, Shutters Inc. can (re)make any model of window shutter to size, for aluminum and plastic window shutters they use a (larger) number of basic models, such as louvered shutters, panel shutters, barn shutters and combi shutters with an aluminum frame and wooden infill. "Of course, all custom-made where all RAL colors are possible," assures Jelmer. "Moreover, the advantage of the aluminum window shutters is that we work with a matrix form, just like the dealers are used to from us with our wooden window shutters. That means they can offer their customers a price based on aluminum very quickly. For plastic, we work with prices on request."

Jelmer notices a lot of interest from Belgium from dealers, who are eager to expand their range of sun protection products with the versatile window shutters from Shutters Inc. "Our concept and in particular our window shutters are perceived very positively in the market."
