Engine supplier delivering on promises

As a small family business, Huco Zonweringen Hardinxveld (named after founder Huub and his wife Corrie) began over twenty years ago in Gouda. After several moves, the company now develops and manufactures from Hardinxveld-Giessendam. "In five years we have grown to fifteen employees, so we are probably doing a pretty good job," says employee Klaus Müller. The cooperation with Becker Benelux also contributes to this. "We are very satisfied with the quality of the engines and the reliability of the company."

Huco Zonweringen has grown considerably in a short period of time, Müller explained. "When I joined the company ten years ago, I had unfortunately experienced bankruptcy at a previous employer. I was able to take several customers with me, however, this boosted the company's growth. Our premises became too small and we moved to our current location. Here we develop and produce durable and high-quality sun protection products, insect screens and shutters."

Over the years, the manufacturing company has built up quite a dealer network. "We work together with the small self-employed, but also with construction companies with millions in turnover," says Huco. For some dealers, Huco provides a total concept of measuring, producing and assembling. "We find good service important, in addition, honesty and reliability are highly valued by our customers."

This reliability was exactly what Huco was missing from the engine brand it had previously done business with. "It actually started with the delivery time, which turned out to be much longer than we were promised. There were also too many problems with the quality of the tube motors. This cost us a lot of money. Reference was then made to the service conditions, while I think that as a company you should be able to trust that the motors are simply good." 

Old engines replaced by Becker

In a search for solar drives, Huco came in contact with Becker. "Philippe Goossens came to talk to us. He is a purebred salesman, but what he says, he delivers! That is exactly what we were looking for. In recent years, a good cooperation has grown as a result." Since the switch, Huco has been gradually swapping out the old engines with Becker products. "Of course something can still go wrong, but it's all about how you solve it. Becker has a special department in Germany, which investigates what was wrong with a defective engine and also provides feedback. We really like this, we can recommend a cooperation with Becker to anyone."

Huco Zonweringen continues to focus on quality and reliability for their customers. Cooperation with suppliers such as Becker is an important pillar in this regard. "We strive for continuity in both delivery time and quality," says Müller. "Our customers appreciate our honest and reliable approach. We remain a trusted partner for both suppliers and customers."
