Solar engine symbolizes sustainable cooperation

"Through bundled knowledge and expertise within StellaGroup, the S300 solar motor was produced entirely in-house under the label 'Stella Advanced Technology.' The basis of the motor was laid at a sister company and further developed into a high-quality product. The motor has now proven itself on the French and German markets and is used in products of Alulux, a partner within StellaGroup, among others," said Joris.

"This new motor type has been specially designed with durability and efficiency in mind. The S300 runs entirely on solar energy and has a service life of more than 36,000 cycles, equivalent to 50 years of use."

The S300 offers several advantages:

• Easy installation: Faster and easier mounting without drilling holes or pulling cables, reducing costs;
  
• Quiet in use: The S300 produces less noise than other engines, contributing to a quiet environment;
  
• Additional reliability: Users need not worry about battery power levels; a charger with quick charge function is available for emergencies;
  
• High-quality materials: The solar panel is glass, which ensures longer life and reliability.

"The S300 solar motor is being added to the existing motor program and we are introducing it first in the new roller shutter Optimaxx CD 139, available as a turnkey product at Smits Rolluiken en Zonwering."
