"Terrace covers have become an essential part of modern living. For us, everything is essentially about letting the end user get everything out of outdoor living in this area. That requires innovation and speed from us as Deponti Group," said Thijs van Woensel. He indicates that the company continuously strives to improve products and come up with new solutions that meet end-user needs.
A great example is the recent launch of Pinela Glass and Pinela Deluxe Plus. "These additions to our range are the result of the strength of our R&D team, conversations with our dealers and end users. The process led to a sleek and stylish design, with the wide glass panels providing maximum incidence of natural light. Again, we want to provide end users with optimal options. In this, the Pinela Deluxe Plus ensures that the end user can play with the slats to create the most pleasant incidence of light. Soon the first showrooms will be filled with it."
Deponti Group is boundlessly ambitious. It is leading to a strong internationalization drive. Van Woensel: "We also look across borders for opportunities to offer the best at home. I am proud of our entire team that we recently received an FD Gazelle International Award (2024)." In addition to the Dutch branch in Oss, the company has branches in Pelt (Belgium), and in Rugby (United Kingdom). Deponti Group also opened a new location in Artern (Germany). "We see strong growth in the demand for patio covers and sliding glass walls abroad. This allows us to successfully serve customers even from our most recently opened location. We do this by sticking to our ambition to deliver from stock and quickly."
As part of Deponti Group, the Palmiye brand range has recently been expanded. Van Woensel: "We strive to offer perfection when it comes to these specific terrace coverings. Here we focus on large projects, think hospitality and other types of recreation. We recently took a look at our philosophy around Palmiye. In particular, we considered the question of what kind of experience we want to offer with Palmiye. It led to two pillars on which we focus: customization and modernization," Van Woensel said. A first step is the translation of the philosophy into a website in a new look. Van Woensel: "Typical is the way we help end users choose their custom-made canopy much more here. From material, to the type of canopy, shape and finish."
What is clear is that Deponti Group is constantly adapting to a rapidly evolving market. What is the blacksmith's secret in this? Van Woensel: "It sounds cliché, but I see that with our entire team we are pushing boundaries every day. The focus on innovation, customization and customer orientation, ensures that we continue to anticipate the changing needs of our dealers and end users."
