Awning manufacturer Brustor welcomes another newcomer to its range: the B128 P Horizontal with sunroof. This is a variant of the highly successful B128 Pergola, with the major difference being that the guides and fabric of this new model run completely horizontally. Sales manager Maxim Devos explains.
"The B128 Pergola Horizontal is an awning that stands out for its minimalist design and horizontal cloth roof. Thanks to its sophisticated design, this pergola can also be attached to low-rise homes, such as a crossing or an outbuilding," Devos says. "The shading fabric roof provides the perfect amount of shade, so you can enjoy the outdoors even on a sunny day."
The B128 Pergola Horizontal builds on the frame and design of the B128 Pergola. The narrow poles of this extension pergola provide a modern design, and thanks to the retractable fabric roof, the natural light in the home is maintained when the fabric is rolled up. Moreover, when extended, the fabric roof provides shade not only on your patio, but also in the home. This helps optimally regulate the temperature both inside and outside.
"An attached pergola normally has to be mounted at an incline to allow rainwater to drain smoothly. That means you still have to be able to hang the awning cabinet at a considerable height, something not every home has to offer."
"So to still offer owners of low-rise homes a shade solution, we at Brustor offer the B128 P Horizontal. This fabric roof runs horizontally, so no minimum pitch is required and you can therefore hang it on a home with a low overhang or an outbuilding. Because of this horizontal position, the fabric roof has a purely solar control function. After all, precipitation cannot run off because of the horizontal position," Maxim clarifies. The B128 P Horizontal is available with maximum dimensions up to 6 x 4 m (without awning), and 5 x 4 m (with awning).
"Brustor wouldn't be Brustor if we didn't take into account the needs of end customers. That's why the B128 Pergola Horizontal can also be personalized." You can choose atmospheric LED lighting in the poles, the side guides and the support beams to enjoy the outdoors a little longer in the evening as well. In addition, you can have a solar powered flounce installed at the front to provide extra protection from low sun. Thanks to the numerous RAL colors, the awning can also fully match the style of the house and you can opt to install a heater. In this way, end customers can create a pergola that is completely tailored to their wishes and needs.
"We are very proud of this product and believe it is a great solution for people who until now had few shade options. We therefore want to use it to give them the opportunity to fully embrace the outdoors and enjoy the sun, in the shade," Devos concluded.
