The villa is surrounded by greenery and consists of two equal buildings that overlap at the level of the living area. The overall architectural design is minimalist, elegant and measured, based on uniform surfaces with a brick façade interspersed with plastered surfaces.

Gibus' Click Zip Ghost blinds frame windows and doors from the outside and perform a wide range of functions: at night they darken rooms to promote relaxing sleep, in summer they serve as blinds to prevent overheating and reduce energy consumption for air conditioning, which is not only associated with cost savings but is also environmentally friendly, and in addition they provide protection from weather and UV rays.

"We chose Click Zip Ghost for several aesthetic and technical reasons. The frame is designed for perfect integration into the building envelope without compromising the thermal insulation of the window opening. The upper cassette and side guides leave the glass panels completely free for unrestricted transparency. The matte black finish (RAL 9005 matte) is the same as that of the window and door frames.

Gibus' wide range of fabrics allowed us to choose the solution that best met our requirements. The fabric (Screen Soltis) is made of natural fibers and synthetic fibers in different colors, chosen to harmonize with the color palette of the façade. They provide an excellent view to the outside while offering the right degree of shielding from sun rays without annoying reflections.

The screens are all equipped with a quiet and reliable electromoter that can be controlled on-site with a wall switch or with a handheld transmitter, smartphone app and home automation system, with the option to program natural lighting scenarios for the rooms.

Shading technology and design

Click Zip is the line of vertical blinds developed by Gibus for the protection and screening of windows, doors, pergolas and glazing. This solution improves light comfort, visual comfort and thermal comfort, lowers energy costs and beautifies living spaces in a stylish and functional way.

The different models meet all installation requirements (with or without cassette, as a recessed model, with niche, wall or ceiling mounting) and can be installed completely invisible. The frame is made of aluminum with Qualicoat-certified powder coating, which guarantees long-term surface durability even in aggressive environments.

The front profile fits perfectly into the cassette without protrusions. The Zip technology on the vertical guide profiles ensures optimum movement of the awning fabric and perfect lateral tightness, providing optimum wind resistance (class 6 DIN 13561, corresponding to a wind speed of approximately 100 km/h).

 The patented Mag Lock magnetic locking system ensures that the fabric is correctly tensioned.

The fabrics are available in a wide range that includes blackout, solar control and transparent fabrics, with different sizes (up to 7,000 x 4,800 mm), materials, thicknesses, weights, energy transmittance, opacity and color, so that they can be tailored to your needs to the maximum extent. All Click Zip fabrics are fireproof and free of harmful substances (in accordance with the REACH regulation).

The electromagnetic drive system works with noiseless 24 V low-power electric motors built into the cloth tube. The cassette is designed for the installation of LED mini-spots (diameter 6 mm, luminous flux 84 lumens), with the possibility of selecting the color temperature of the light.

The awning can be operated with a handheld transmitter and the Gibus Connect app for mobile devices or can be integrated into the building automation and electrical system of the building. Special optional sensors measure sunlight intensity and wind speed to move the awning out or in as desired.
