New cubist patio covers for Benelux market

Sunparadise develops, extrudes, paints and assembles high-quality canopy systems as well as windows, doors and balcony glazing. After the introduction a few years ago of the CUBO Classic, the range has now been expanded with two terrace roofing systems specially developed for the Benelux market: CUBO Ezie and Ezieroof.

The CUBO Classic, a sleek, elegant canopy with cubist design, can handle snow loads as high as 300 kg per m². "Ideal for the German-Austrian and Swiss markets," says Dirk Larivière of Sunparadise Belgium. "But for the Benelux countries, such a high maximum load is of course not necessary. That is why we have launched two new terrace covers on the market: the CUBO Ezie and Ezieroof, both capable of withstanding a snow load of 50 kg per m² and considerably more economical than the CUBO Classic."

Fixed and custom sizes

For both of Sunparadise's new patio covers, they are available only as add-on models and in both fixed sizes and custom sizes. "With the CUBO Ezie, there is a headroom of up to 3 meters, a width of 2 m to 6 m and a depth of 2 m to 4 m," says Dirk. "The glass covering is 8 mm or 10 mm, while the sandwich panels are 12 mm thick. The roof infill consists of 4.4.2 or 5.5.2 laminated glass and can be supplied on demand, as can the sandwich panels. Furthermore, there is a choice between two colors: RAL 9005 and RAL 7016. For the Ezieroof - which is equipped with a sloping roof surface and features a multi-walled PC and sandwich panels of 16mm or 32mm - the same story applies: this terrace cover is also only available as an extension model, both in fixed sizes and made-to-measure and in two colors. In short: what you see is what you get! In the future, both covers will be equipped with an intermediate pole so that even wider sizes are possible. In addition, a freestanding version is in development."

Quick installation

Currently, Sunparadise is bringing its two new patio covers to the full attention of its resellers. "The big advantage of both the CUBO Ezie and the Ezieroof is the fast assembly: in one day it is possible to install two covers with two mechanics," concludes Dirk.
