The issue of Articulated and Drop-down screens has only just been published, yet there is already "screen news. It comes from markilux and concerns the MX-2. "This screen is characterized by its subtle design with beautiful curves and high-quality technology," said Michael Gerling, Director of Production and Technology at markilux. "With ten new color combinations for the cassette hood and the rest of the screen's hardware, markilux wants to emphasize the modern design of the MX-2 in variant color even more from now on."
"Like a painting that gets the perfect finishing touch through fine, crisp brush strokes, markilux tries to accentuate the design of its screens through specific effects," Gerling continues. This is also the case with the MX-2 cassette screen, which was launched not long ago. In fact, starting this year, this screen is also available as MX-2 color in ten new color combinations.
The cover of the cassette with a different color
In those new color combinations, the cap of the cassette has a different color from the rest of the screen's hardware. The combinations come from the seven standard screen colors and three additional, special colors. Accordingly, markilux recommends two fabrics from its new collection one fabric collection for each color arrangement.
But consumers can also completely determine the color and pattern of the fabric, Gerling says. "The cassette hood in a different color emphasizes the round shape of the cassette at the sides. It is a characteristic accent of this screen that now stands out more. So with this we want to put additional emphasis on the design of the MX-2. Moreover, with the different options it should be easier for the consumer to make a good color choice."
Design as its own style element
"The idea for a two-tone frame came up during the development phase of the MX-2," Gerling said. "But not everything can always be put into practice right away. Some things need a little more time until they function the way we want. That also applies to the high-quality colored coatings."
In the case of the MX-2, markilux was able to concentrate on the design because the built-in technology of the screen had already proven itself in another model for years. "Thus, we continued to work on the color details of the design components after the market launch. With its clear, slightly rounded shape, this screen should be both an integral part of the architecture and its own style element. All aspects of the screen express quality and are tailored to a lifestyle with high aesthetic demands. We now emphasize this with the new color concept. In addition, we believe that consumers should have the option of giving their screen the most individual look possible," concludes Michael Gerling.
