Lenco®, a leading specialist in high-quality sun protection solutions, acquired a majority stake in the company Gevex during the summer vacations. With this strategic acquisition, Lenco® strengthens its position in the business sun protection market, focusing on further expanding its offerings for contractors, property managers and business projects.

Gevex: Specialist in business sun protection

Operating exclusively in the commercial market, Gevex has been a trusted name for contractors and property owners in the Netherlands for many years. As a specialist in shading projects, Gevex designs, supplies, installs and maintains a wide range of indoor and outdoor shading systems for both commercial and residential buildings. Tailor-made solutions for business clients are central, with maintenance and breakdown management playing an important role. Gevex was part of De Groot & Visser (DGV), one of the larger façade builders in the Netherlands.

The acquisition brings no changes in the leadership of Gevex. Willem Biesheuvel, the current managing director, will remain at the helm and retain his shareholding. This continuity ensures that relationships with existing clients and employees will be maintained and that the high service and quality standards will continue.

Strengthened cooperation for better service delivery

The intensive cooperation with Lenco® gives Gevex access to innovative solutions such as the patented Lenco® slat systems and the advanced Best Controls control systems. These additions to the product range enable Gevex to offer even better and more professional service to its customers.
