In times of a constantly growing shortage of skilled personnel and rising energy and material costs, aluminum systems specialist heroal focuses on supporting its customers with an offer for more efficient processes during their operations. Particular attention is being paid to digital configuration and ordering, maximum flexibility in the assembly of heroal system solutions and tools for production and assembly. A workshop area at heroal's booth at R+T 2024 will demonstrate what these more efficient processes look like and how heroal's various offerings can be seamlessly integrated.

Generating online interest

heroal is stepping up its marketing activities, particularly online, to raise awareness of its high-quality aluminum system solutions for building envelopes and interior spaces among potential end customers at an early stage. Via advertising campaigns on social media, Google, etc., target groups are addressed and directed to the heroal website with its own product configurators for shutters, awnings, patio covers and front doors. From there, they are referred to heroal specialist dealers, who further process any orders.

heroal configurators: paperless and time-saving thanks to digital ordering

At R+T in Stuttgart, the complete ordering and production process is presented using the clampable sun protection system heroal VS Z EM. The starting point of the process chain is the configuration of the blinds in the corresponding heroal configurator by an end user (e.g. a private builder). This configurator is accessible via the heroal website and can also be integrated into the heroal customer website upon request. After the configuration of the blinds system has been completed, it can be called up and further processed by the processor via an individual configuration ID in the Business Configurator on the customer portal 'heroal Communicator'. This is supported, among other things, by an automatic calculation, a check of technical feasibility and the constant availability of the latest product data. Thus, a quotation can be prepared in the shortest possible time. When the configuration is complete, the order is passed directly into the Business Configurator - this prevents errors and saves time and paper.

Maximum flexibility thanks to different pre-assembly levels

When ordering, heroal trade specialists can choose between system products, construction kits and pre-assembled ready-made elements at any time.

System products are available for the entire heroal product portfolio. Thereby, the profiles are delivered as longitudinal goods and the assembly is carried out entirely by the processor.

While heroal has long offered a certain level of pre-assembly in the form of ready-made roller shutter armor and heroal VS Z fabric systems, the range of construction kits, read semi-finished products, for heroal VS Z will in future be supplemented by cabinet and guide rail packages. This eliminates the need for processors to cut, machine or stock the components to size. This will enable partners who do not yet have the zipscreen heroal VS Z in their range to expand their product range more easily and respond better to customers' increasing interest in shading systems.

The pre-assembly level is highest with the ready-to-use heroal Ready elements for shutters, awnings and roller shutters. Elements are delivered to the specialist dealer completely assembled, allowing him to concentrate more on product sales and installation at end customers. Especially when fewer personnel are available, this offers heroal specialists more flexibility.

The delivery of heroal systems of all pre-assembly levels to the trade specialists takes place as quickly as possible and punctually as agreed using the company's own fleet of trucks.

Production tools for greater workplace efficiency

Once the goods have reached the specialist dealers, the system products and construction kits, read semi-finished products, must be further processed. To make assembly and installation easier and smoother, special attention is paid to well-thought-out construction in the new and further development of heroal systems. And to make it easier and faster to perform the various tasks for this, heroal offers various production aids, such as punching tools, drilling jigs and assembly tables. Thus, regardless of the pre-assembly level of the heroal system, production proceeds in a time-saving, efficient and cost-effective manner.
