Large glass surfaces that let in plenty of daylight are a trend in architecture for residential and commercial construction. At the same time, design requirements for energy-efficient, sustainable homes with effective thermal insulation are increasing. With the heroal VS Z corner solution, heroal offers an aesthetic and effective solution for shading at (glass) structural corners.
The heroal VS Z corner solution consists of two screen cloths with zip guides on the sides and a patented stainless steel cable guide in the corner area and provides effective shading in, for example, fully glazed corners. The individual bottom frames of the screens are cleverly integrated into just one cable guide. This allows the screens to be operated independently and variably adjusted to the position of the sun. Each screen fabric can cover an area of up to 9 square meters. To provide not only protection from glare, glare and heat, but also protection from insects, the system with spacer profiles and matching hoods can be combined with insect-resistant doors or tension windows.
The heroal VS Z corner solution is available as a system product or fabric package, read semi-finished. Assembly takes place in the same way as for the familiar awning heroal VS Z and is therefore familiar to the subject specialists who work with heroal systems. As an additional operation in the process, the cabinets must be mitred on one side. The cable system must also be mounted in the middle. The assembly of the heroal VS Z corner solution can be carried out by two people.
In addition to functional benefits, the heroal VS Z corner solution offers numerous aesthetic options. When selecting the screen fabric, some 250 textiles are available as standard, from semi-transparent for daylight in the building to completely dense for near blackout. When not in use, the screen fabric disappears into the heroal surface-mounted box system (sizes 105 and 125 mm). The stainless steel cable guide ensures a subtle connection of the fabrics in the corner area. The sophisticated design is accentuated by the particularly narrow screen guide rails of only 25 millimeters on the side. Upon request, guide rails and cabinet system can be completely incorporated into the plaster. Finishing the extruded parts with the highly weather-resistant heroal hwr powder coating offers additional design options.
