Coulisse wins award for smart and safe Eve MotionBlinds at IWCE 2023

Eve MotionBlinds has once again won awards. This time at the International Window Coverings Expo 2023 (IWCE 2023) held April 20-21 this year in Charlotte, North Carolina. "Eve MotionBlinds was named the 'Best New Style Concept' there in the Motorization and Automation category thanks to its unmatched future-proof smart technology," says a proud Christiaan Roetgering, founder and owner of Coulisse. 

Eve MotionBlinds is Coulisse's answer to smart home. The smart motors should enable safe and cordless operation of blinds and shades. Via a voice-activated assistant or app, window coverings can be opened or closed at any time and from any location. The Eve MotionBlinds motors are designed to support Thread. This makes them work with Apple HomeKit from an iPhone, without the need to install a bridge or create an account. 

Matter ensures that Eve MotionBlinds motors can work with all four major smart home platforms, namely Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings. "Eve MotionBlinds was the first smart blind motor platform on the market to use Matter-over-Thread and was named a 'CES 2023 Innovation Award Honoree' at the world's largest smart home and technology event in Las Vegas this January," Roetgering said.

Coulisse presented its latest child-safe design solution Twin Pull at IWCE. The control sticks are the safest way to operate blinds by hand. They offer all the advantages of chain operation, but in a child-safe design. Because they no longer use a continuous loop, which is present in most clutched blinds, Twin Pull can safely raise and lower any blind to any position at any time.
