With rising temperatures and real estate energy legislation, the demand for solar control zipper screens will continue to increase in the coming years, is the general expectation. Sustainability is also playing an increasingly important role. Solar-powered screens are therefore very popular. "No electrical connection is required, which makes it an excellent solution for both installer and end user," said sales manager for Belgium and the Netherlands Maxim Devos.

B1100 ZIP Prestige Solar: for places without electrical connection

One of the Brustor screens also available in solar version is the B1100 Prestige. It is a zipper screen with a modern look and feel, according to Devos, designed specifically for the modern home. "With this new screen we want to signal that the screen market is still very important and growing," said the sales manager. "The B1100 Prestige solar is a sustainable solution, with Brustor again using solar energy to operate the screen. The energy is stored in the battery, so the B1100 Prestige solar can continue to operate even on cloudy days. Because the screen is equipped with a battery, it is immediately ideal for situations where no power connection is available." 

Prestige screen in all RAL colors

Another asset of this B1100 Prestige Solar, according to Devos, is its finish. "For example, the screen is available in all RAL colors. At Brustor, we previously had no answer to the great demand for special paint colors for screens. With the B1100 Prestige, we now do. The screen is available in all paint colors at no extra charge. This allows it to be better adapted to the home and the wishes of the end customer. Furthermore, we have focused on a product that is assembly-friendly and beautifully finished, with countersunk screws and an extra heavy bottom bar for an even tighter fabric, which also largely disappears into the cabinet."
