It is already on display in Helmond's showroom, and quite a few entrepreneurs and dealers from the specialist trade in Brabant have visited to see it in real life: the Guillotine automatic glass system. At Bella Vista, they now think the time has come to go public with it. "We are ready for it," says sales manager Koen Sanders.
The Guillotine is an innovative glass system consisting of three horizontal panels that open from top to bottom, allowing the terrace - for example, in the hospitality industry - to be closed at will and as needed to provide protection from wind or blowing precipitation. Opened, a balustrade remains at the bottom as a boundary of the terrace. The Guillotine is equipped with drive and control from Somfy.
"Convenience serves man, or if you will, the employees in the hospitality industry," believes Sanders, whose day-to-day duties at Bella Vista include maintaining contact with the market. "After all, the Guillotine is very easy to operate. It is literally one push of a button to open or close the terrace again."
The new glass system can now be supplied by Bella Vista. Not only for hospitality applications, by the way, because it can also be a good solution in a private setting, according to Sanders. "It's not a standard product anyway," he says. "This Guillotine is custom produced, because every project or private patio has its own unique characteristics."
